Pictures from Afghanistan

We were able to skype with Jason this weekend. It was so nice to see his face and hear his voice at the same time. What a gift. He sends pictures from time to time so I thought I would share them. He’s doing fine, working hard and counting the days until he’s home again. Oh yeah, and he has a full beard and moustache.. So far we have all made it 2 months, 1 week and 2 days being apart. Only 17 more weeks to go!!! When I think of it in weeks it doesn’t seem so long… boredom               bow with the rain

The one above is called “Boredom” I have to wonder what they’re trying to hit…

bunker that we entered this am

Home sweet home for now. Jason says all the tents have AC and electricity. I’m not sure about a fridge.. The structure you see in the middle is a bunker in case there’s trouble…

This one is a sand storm that passed through a few days ago. He also sent pictures of the “facilities” (thanks for sharing) I thought I would keep those to myself…lol.
