Pumpkin Patch Adventure

We went to the pumpkin patch for the afternoon yesterday. Sophia loved the horses and the baby chickens. I think she may have gone back to feed those baby chicks at least 4 times!!
                     
She had no fear of feeding the horses at all! They were really sweet and gentle…Oh, by the way dad, Sophia and I have decided we want one.. Please please please???
                      
Sneads Farm has swings all over the place. In the barns and hanging from giant oak trees. Sophia had to test most of them..
                     
                      
Mom? Can I take this baby cow for a walk like I take Gremmy for a walk? He has a leash, see???
                       
I neglected to consider it had rained all day Saturday before she climbed in the worm hole…

After the farm we stopped at Hornes for an ice cream sunday!!!

Cookies..

Sophia and I had lots of fun getting the dough ready for our halloween cookies this afternoon! She's clearly a fan of cookie dough!!

By the time we were finished decorating I wasn't sure who had more frosting, Sophia or the house.......

Grandma Lynn and Sophia

Sophia decided to show Grandma Lynn all her special treasures from when she was a baby.. It was very sweet.. In these pictures Sophia was "reading" all the cards from my blessing way/shower. Where did the last 3 years go? It's true what they say... it all go's so fast... sweet sweet moments in time....

Is it me or does she look way older than three??

Playroom

As you can see the playroom is coming along nicely. We successfully assembled the shelving unit this morning. The curtains I ordered should be here this week then we just need some pictures on the walls. I'm also going to hang short pieces of clothesline somehow to hang Sophia's art work. We have SO much of it floating around but no way to display it as of yet. I think she'll really like being able to hang it herself and switch it out as she creates more. Sophia has Grandma Lynn busy busy busy...

Halloween 2011

We are gearing up for Halloween here in the Morrison home. Yesterday Sophia went to a Halloween party at the Oak Grove Elementary School with Miss Cami, Greg, Brandy and McKenzie while I ventured to DC to pick up my mother at the airport. Grandma Lynn will be visiting with us through Thansgiving. Sophia is so excited for her to be here! They are playing with playdough as we speak. I have a feeling Grandma Lynn will be worn out sooner rather than later. Sophia was the cutest little strawberry for the halloween party yesterday and she will be a ladybug for trick o treating on Monday!
